I like your fun swatches. One can come up with a great idea by swatching for fun. You mentioned the Celebration of Life. I looked up the dress code. This is what the site says, A celebration of life isn’t as formal as a funeral and focuses on celebrating the dearly departed’s life rather than mourning the loss. It’s not appropriate to wear traditional black clothing. Women should wear simple conservative clothing such as a nice pair of jeans, slacks, or a colorful skirt. You may also wear a respectful day dress with heels or flats. I love the blouse you are wearing. Why not wear it? It looks fantastic on you! Best wishes for tomorrow.

Ah! Never thought to look it up. I wore a forest green sleeveless dress and a bronze/caramel shawlette and low heels.

Jane loved my shawlette so I found a skein of the yarn, in her colors. The dyer doesn’t exist anymore.

Please have Mitch take a pic of you. I would love to see this shawlette. Sounds great! I looked the dress code up for me just in case! LOL We were in Monterey to celebrate our 25 anniversary. Decided to visit the Central Coast Veterans Cemetery. Ed decided that we would be buried there. We didn't know that you have to apply for it. I've noticed that some people are uncomfortable in talking about death. But who is going to do this for us - no children and my brothers and his sisters don't keep in contact. BTW, I'm reading "Let Them" by Mel Robbins. I'm enjoying it. And it was recommended to me "Grief One day at a Times by Alan D. Wolfelt. It's helped me quite a bit dealing with my mom's passing.
